Our remanufacturingprocesses are innovative, sustainable and provide the channel a much-neededservice and we achieve that by being 100% true to our claims and being the best at what we do.

PCL has established partnerships with 140 UK dealers and international distributors, enabling us to distribute to 32 countries worldwide. While many of our competitors import ready-made compatible products from the Far East, PCL Direct is proud to re-manufacture all of its products in the UK, supporting the UK economy and contributing to a greatly reduced carbon footprint.

We remanufacture products for use in selected Ricoh, Canon, and models which feature Konica Minolta engines, including Develop and Olivetti, which gives dealers more choice and flexibility.

Many dealers are finding they don’t have the resources for refurbishing out of contract, or superseded machines, so, under our Eco Direct brand, we provide them with a service for re-engineering mid to high volume MFPs, which are upcycled from machines that are, typically, no more than 3 years old and with print volumes preferably not exceeding 300,000 prints. The introduction of the Eco-Direct Recycling Service, into the dealer channel has been positively accepted as it has opened up more opportunities for dealers.          

One of the other services PCL Direct provides the channel is a collection service for used toner cartridges, parts, and machines, with a waste collection certificate, provided as evidence that materials are being responsibly managed. The used cartridges are sent to a specialist to be professionally cleaned, and the clean units are returned to PCL for remanufacture.    

From a financial perspective the remanufactured option makes sense for dealers with costs being between 20% to 30% less than the production of OEM products. Since the pandemic, with revenues decreasing by around 30% to
40 %, dealers' profit margins have declined, so they are now looking for an
alternative to help increase the profitability of their business.
